Rattlers Baseball Program

The Cicero Rattlers offers an experience to local players in select age groups based on high school graduation year. We work and train with our players and compete together until the 16u level – then we continue to encourage and support them as part of our Rattler Nation Family after that.

Multiple Team Opportunities

Within the same age group, we have multiple team opportunities to include as many players as possible. This makes it easier for our players to participate in multiple sports and activities. For example, we will have various league teams as well as select teams for specific tournaments and events – and players have the opportunity to play on more than one team.

Scheduling

We do everything we can to work alongside Cicero Little League and CNS Sports and school activities. All of our planning takes the schedule of our players into consideration. We also keep an eye on the schedules for other sports and events, including baseball, soccer, lacrosse, gymnastics, football, cross-country, wrestling and band, to minimize conflicts. We encourage and support multi-sports athletes!

How Tournaments, Leagues and Team Activities Work

Practices, games, activities and opportunities are presented to players and their families. If enough players can commit, we schedule the activity and share the cost. This includes sessions with trainers, tournaments and games (although many games will be free or ump-fee only).

Because our players and coaches participate in Little League, we’re lucky enough to be able to use facilities, such as fields and batting cage. Sponsors, schools, coaches and parents voluntarily provide gear, facilities and funds to help us provide year-round activities.

Players are expected to adhere to the Player Code of Conduct and Coaches are expected to adhere to the Coaches Code of Conduct.
