The Cicero Rattlers took to the turf on Saturday night (12/4/21) to play Jordan-Elbridge for the first time in the program’s history.
On this night, the Rattlers started off strong and never let up as the offense exploded for 24 runs off of 33 hits.
Leading the offense on this night was Nicholas Capece, who went 7/7 at the plate, notched several RBI’s and scored 5 runs while belting out two exciting home runs.
Through this 4th game of the season, Capece leads the team in home runs (3), batting average (.762) and OBP (.76). He shares the lead for hits (16) and runs scored (10) with Lucas Thelen.
Also hitting home runs in this game for the Rattlers were Evan Rumpel and Ethan Matthews. This was the first home run of the indoor season for each.
