The Rattlers RBI team took on the Henninger baseball team on Monday night at Henninger High School.
Starting pitcher for the Rattlers was Lucas Thelen, who threw for 2 innings. He gave up one hit and zero runs while striking out 5.
Nicholas Capece came in to start the 3rd inning on the mound for the Rattlers.
The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the 4th inning, when a single by Daniel Capp, double by Kenton Cochran and single by Ethan Matthews brought in 2 runs for the Rattlers.
Two errors helped Henninger bring in one run in the 5th inning. Hits by Capece and Capp helped bring in another run in the bottom of the 5th for the Rattlers, putting the score to 3-1 in their favor.
In the 6th inning, a triple by Ethan Matthews was followed by a single by Jacob Sadowski and a double by Evan Rumpel. The inning would end with the Rattlers ahead 5-1.
In the 7th inning, a single and HBP helped put a runner in scoring position. The runner advanced on an error to score before Capece struck out the final batter to end the game with the Rattlers ahead 5-2.
Capece finished the game with 9 strikeouts and zero walks, while giving up 1 hit and 2 runs through 5 innings.

Rattlers fans were introduced a new player, Dante Klix, on this night. Klix played left field and tallied a walk and stolen base in his first game.
