The Cicero Rattlers CLL team met up with Lyncourt-Lemonye at Cicero’s home field in Meltzer Park on Friday night.
Starting on the mound for the Rattlers was Lucas Thelen, a left-hander from Cicero-North Syracuse.
Thelen would go on to pitch the entire game, holding off a tough Lyncourt-Lemonye offense that fell short on the day as the Rattlers went on to win 8-5.
