Rattlers CLL Brings in 10 Runs Against Homer for 2nd Win in a Row

The Cicero Rattlers CLL team met with the Homer Blue Pride in Central Park on Monday night.

Starting pitcher for Cicero was Lucas Thelen. Thelen gave up 1 hit and 1 run, along with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts, in 2 innings. Connor Pearce followed on the mound, where he gave up 1 hit and walked 2 in 1.5 innings. Nicholas Capece finished the game, striking out 1, walking 1 and giving up no hits or runs in the final two innings.

Hits for the Rattlers came from Luke Thelen, Nicholas Capece (2), Jacob Calabria (2), Ethan Matthews, Chase Mearon, Michael Mooney, DeVinney and Sean Bombard.

Runs were scored by Thelen, Capece, Calabria, Matthews (2), Mearon, DeVinney, Alex Smith, Jack Clary and Bombard.

MVP on the night was Jack DeVinney for making several great plays at 3rd base, including a diving catch, plus hitting a double and scoring 1 run.
