Cicero beat a team of Fayetteville-Manlius All-Stars 7-3 on Saturday night in the Sports Center 481 Arena.

In the second inning, Cicero got their offense started when Jayden Wilmot grounded out, scoring one run.

Cicero pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning.

In the fourth Connor Pearce singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, Michael Mooney singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Alex Smith singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, and Sean Bombard was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

Nicholas Capece started on the mound for Cicero. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out five and walking one. Alex Smith, Connor Pearce and Lucas Thelen pitched 2, 2 and 1 inning respectively.

Cicero scattered seven hits in the game. Mooney and Pearce each racked up multiple hits for Cicero. Pearce and Mooney all had two hits to lead Cicero. Cicero tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Pearce led the way with four stolen bases and earned himself the MVP nod for also going 2-3 at the plate and pitching 2 scoreless innings.
