Ryan Hooser collected three hits in four at bats, as Rattlers defeated North Syracuse RBI 12-2 on Wednesday at Van Duyn Park. Hooser singled in the fifth inning, doubled in the first inning, and singled in the second inning.

Rattlers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Mason Vangel grounded out, scoring one run, Eli Greer singled, scoring one run, Joey Barbato tripled, scoring two runs, and Sullivan Woods singled, scoring one run.

Rattlers added one run in the second. Dean Capece grounded out, making the score 6-0.

A ground out by Greer extended the Rattlers lead to 7-2 in the bottom of the third inning.

Rattlers scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Seth McIlroy doubled, scoring two runs, Ryan Hooser singled, scoring two runs, and a passed ball scored one run.

Hunter Woods earned the win for Rattlers. The starting pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking none. Seth McIlroy collected the save. Adrian Muller appeared in relief for Rattlers.

Eli Greer collected two hits for Rattlers in three at bats.
