The Cicero Rattlers opened up their indoor season with a dramatic win on Saturday night in the Sports Center Arena.
After taking an early 3-0 lead, the Rattlers led the Sports Zone home team until a 3-run homerun in the 5th inning tied the score at 5-all.
Sports Zone would go on to score 2 runs in the 8th inning to take the 7-5 lead.
In the final inning, an Ethan Matthews single brought in the go ahead run as time expired.
Hits on the night came from Capece (4), Thelen (4), Capp (3), Cochran (3), Bombard (2), Matthews and Sadowski.
Runs were scored by Thelen, Capece, Capp and Cochran (each scored 2).
