The Rattlers finished their Legacy League season with a lopsided victory against Jamesville-Dewitt. This was the first matchup between these two clubs.

Ryan Walker was the starting pitcher for the Rattlers. Walker held JD to 1 run over 3 innings, giving up 2 hits with 2 walks and 1 strikeout.

Over the course of the first 3 innings, the Rattlers brought in 1 run (Thelen) off an Ethan Matthews hit in the first inning. The Rattlers scored 3 more runs in the 3rd innings thanks mostly to walks and errors. Bertollini earned an RBI from a sacrifice fly. Runs were scored by Sadowski, Capp and Thelen.

With a 4-1 lead, Lucas Thelen followed Walker on the mound in the fourth inning. Thelen gave up 1 run off of 2 walks and 2 balls put into play. The 4th inning ended with the score 4-2, Rattlers. In the bottom of the 4th inning, the game got away from JD as the Rattlers scored 11 runs courtesy of multiple walks and some well placed hits. Every rattlers player scored one run, except for Ryan Walker – who scored 2 runs in the inning.

Thelen pitched out the 5th inning, giving up no runs and striking out one. The Rattlers notched 4 more runs in the inning, with Bertollini, Calabria, COchran and Walker coming in.

With the score sitting at 19-1, Ethan Matthews came in to finish the game. He also gave up no runs while striking out one and walking 3 in the final 2 innings.

The final run of the day was scored by Bertollini, who was hit in by a Calabria double after a double of his own. The final score was 20-2, Rattlers.

The Rattlers ended the Legacy League season with a record of 3-2 and outscored their opponents 44-24.

MVP on the day for the Rattlers was Lucas Thelen for several good plays, solid pitching, 3 runs scored and a double.
