The Rattlers FB hit the SRS home field on Saturday to play the Seneca River South 15u team for the 4th game of the season. The Rattlers led the series 3-0.

The game was tied at zero through 2-innings, with Lucas Thelen on the mound for the Rattlers.  SRS notched 3 runs in the 3rd to lead 3-0. SRS would go on to score 4 more runs in the 4th and 5th inning with KJ Cochran pitching.

With SRS leading 7-0, the Rattlers came alive in the 6th inning. Daniel Capp started the inning with a hit. Calabria walked and a Lucas Thelen single drove in the first run of the day for Cicero. Bertollini followed with a hit to score Calabria and Thelen. An Ethan Matthews walk was followed by a ball in play by Sean Bombard that earned him an RBI (Matthews scored). The inning stalled with SRS leading 7-4.

Dylan Bertollini took the mound for the Rattlers and held SRS scoreless (1 walk, 3 strikeouts).

In the 7th inning, Calabria hit a double with 2 outs. This was followed by a ball in play by Thelen for an RBI (Calabria) to put the score at 7-5. Thelen would end up stealing his way home to make the score 7-6.

SRS brought 2 runs in during the 8th inning, which was followed by a  2 run inning by the Rattlers to make the score 9-8 in favor of SRS.  The Rattlers were unable to score again.
