The Cicero Rattlers treated their fans to their best game of the indoor season on the Sports Center turf on Saturday night.
The team racked up a season high of 24 hits and 11 runs. Daniel Capp led the way, going 5/5 at the plate – which included a double and his first home run of the season.
On defense, Cicero made a number of exciting plays, including:
Diving catch by Lucas Thelen in left field for an out and some nice scoops at first base.
Several impressive plays by Nicholas Capece at shortstop, including a double-play (Capece/Downer).
Multiple put-outs by Alex Sanes-Carmona (3B).
Multiple put-outs by Conor Downer (2B), including turning a double-play with Capece and snagging a hard hit line-drive.
