Cicero’s 14u team, the Skeeters, opened the season against the 16u baseball team from SRS on SRS’s home field.
Cicero Skeeters struggled on the mound, walking 13 batters in the 13-3 loss. Both teams had 5 hits on the day.
Pitchers for Cicero included Johnny Wozniczka, Garrett Branning, Jacob Calabria and Alex Smith.
The Cicero Skeeters squad takes on 16u teams on a regulation field with a 90-foot diamond.
